sehsüchte.Screenplay Lounge – the exclusive cinema-in-your-head

Under this motto, the sehsüchte Screenplay Lounge is this year to presenting the five most exciting and unusual screenplays by new generation authors. We’re inviting anybody interested to get to know the nominated screenplays in staged readings and that way experience the source of every single film. You can discover how, despite there being no screen, the written word can be brought to life filmically. Live music and live sound will generate the right mood for that, whilst prominent dubbing voices will breathe life into the individual figures and provide the appropriate cinema atmosphere.

As in every good cinema programme there is with us too something for every taste. The listeners can expect not only fascinating stories from all genres but also a listening experience that’s a class apart. Let yourself be carried off into a world of heartache, suspense, goosebumps and paroxysms of mirth. And our smaller listeners can look forward to an exciting adventure. We are, of course, remaining true to the sehsüchte motto, like every year, and directly after the readings we are offering our guests the chance to talk to the authors and discuss the works presented. So you’re right to be all agog!
