Jovan Arsenic - Director, Author, Producer
Biography
- Jovan Arsenic was born in 1974 in Zrenjanin (Yugoslavia). In 2000, he graduated from the University of Balgrade with a diploma in psychology specialising in social psychology and the psychology of the media. From 2000-2004, he studied directing at the Academy of the Media Arts in Cologne. In the meantime, he has come to live in Berlin, where he works as a freelance author and director. He has already presented his films at international film festivals, among others, Karlovy Vary, Locarno and Montreal, with some success. His film, “Die Helden aus der Nachbarschaft” was in competition in the Berlinale in 2008

Matthias Glasner - Director, Author, Producer
Biography
- Matthias Glasner was born in Hamburg in 1965 and initially worked there at the opera and as a projectionist before he shot his first films, “Die Mediocren" and “Sexy Sadie”. In 2006, his film, “Der freie Wille”, was in competition in the Berlinale and won the Silver Bear. Numerous international distinctions followed. In it, Jürgen Vogel plays a sex offender who cannot live with his guilt. In 2007, Matthias Glasner founded the production house Badlands Film with Jürgen Vogel and Lars Kraume. His new film, “This is Love” will be in cinemas this year.

Jana Marsik - Camera
Biography
- Jana Marsik was born in Kiel in 1974. She gained her first practical experience during an internship as camera operator in Boston, where she was able to realise video projects for herself at the Boston Film und Video Foundation BF&VF. In 2003, she completed her studies at the “Konrad Wolf” University of Film and Television at diploma level. In 2002, she received the prize for new talent in the German Camera Prize competition. Her latest films were “Hände weg von Mississippi”, “Robert Zimmermann wundert sich über die Liebe“ and “Lippels Traum”.

Oli Weiss - Editing
Biography
- Oli Weiss was born in Herford in 1970. After ten years working as in assistant role – among others for “Lisbon story” (W. Wenders), “Der Totmacher“(R.Karmakar) and “Palmetto“ (V.Schloendorff) – he was responsible for editing “Don’t come knocking” and was nominated for the European Film Prize on the strength of it. In 2006, “Sonic Mirror“ and “Going against Fate” followed; in 2008, the film, “Palermo Shooting“ (W.Wenders) and “Schweitzer“ (Gavin Millar). For “Palermo Shooting“, Oli Weiss has been nominated for the German Film Prize 2009, together with Peter Przygodda and Mirko Scheel.
