Newsletter - March 24, 2009

Dear Sehsüchtophiles,

There’s only four weeks to go before we ignite the sehsüchte flame again. In this newsletter, we want to update you on the last phase before the Festival’s opening: is the programme decided? Which prizes are going to be awarded under sehsüchte’s aegis? Is there going to be a focus on films from a particular region? You can find all the answers to these questions from now on in the regular sehsüchte newsletters.

Here’s where the bear struts its stuff: the first sehsüchte.09 party’s already been and gone, to be continued...

This year’s Berlinale Filmschool-Party, as organised by sehsüchte, was a sensation: more than 1,000 visitors celebrated in Berlin’s TAPE. Big name DJ’s had the the joint rocking on two floors. The Berlinale Filmschool Party traditionally brings together film students and film fans from all over the world and marked the opening of a varied overall programme climaxing in April.
